In the movie, Ariana adds a new ending to the song, where she goes up an octave and repeats the “la-la” line several times. Schwartz mentioned that while Ariana initially hesitated, he believes this new ending might be a perfect fit for the stage show. He explained to Buzzfeed UK that had he thought of this new ending back when the original stage version was created, he would have included it. The high soprano notes that Ariana brings to the song are something that could potentially make their way into the Broadway version in the future.
