In her heartfelt 20th anniversary post, Ellen DeGeneres claims that her home did not flood.

Ellen DeGeneres is shutting down rumors that her UK farmhouse with wife Portia de Rossi has been affected by recent floods. In a heartfelt social media post celebrating their 20th anniversary, Ellen addressed the speculation while expressing her love for Portia.

The post included a selfie of the couple against a backdrop of lush green hills, with Ellen reflecting on their two decades together:

“We started this relationship 20 years ago, not realizing what a beautiful adventure it would be. You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Thank you for navigating this crazy life with me.”

She added her excitement about their upcoming first snowy Christmas in the UK, marking their first holiday since relocating from Santa Barbara to the English countryside in November.

Ellen also reassured fans concerned about their property, writing:

“P.S. For those of you concerned, our UK farmhouse did NOT flood.”

Reports of severe weather in the area, including floods and 80 mph winds, had sparked concerns about their 43-acre property. Although nearby roads were reportedly submerged under five feet of water, Ellen clarified that their home was unaffected.

With their farmhouse staying dry, it looks like Ellen and Portia can focus on celebrating their milestone anniversary and enjoying a peaceful holiday season in their new home.
