Richard Simmons’ Range Rover, which was recently up for auction on Bring A Trailer, had only around 18,000 miles on it. The luxury SUV was outfitted with 20″ rims, leather seats, a wood-trimmed steering wheel, a sunroof, a touchscreen infotainment system, and heated seats. It also had a clean Carfax report and passed its most recent smog check, indicating that Richard was a responsible car owner.
Under the hood, the Range Rover was equipped with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, offering 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque. However, it didn’t feature a manual transmission; instead, it had a six-speed automatic transmission.
This car became a notable part of the story after Richard Simmons’ death in July at the age of 76, following his years of reclusiveness.
