This week, the 31-year-old rapper shared a photo of herself with a friend on X (formerly Twitter). In the photo, her friend is cradling her growing baby bump.
Someone reposted the photo, asking if the singer was lightening her skin, prompting a heated response.

“Bleaching while pregnant 😒😒😒,” Cardi responded. “Why must yall be so dumb ?”
She continued, saying that she was more pale than usual. However it’s actually due to her pregnancy: “Actually NO ! I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic ,this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale,eyes sunken ,veins green ASF,can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy ….PLEAE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR A-SHOLE!”
The revelation comes shortly after Cardi revealed that she had been hospitalized and nearly lost her child after suffering a scary “freaky accident.”
Cardi confirmed that she was expecting her third baby, with estranged husband Offset, earlier this month.
