The trailer for the upcoming American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez has just debuted!
Josh Andres Rivera stars in the titular role of Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots tight end who was convicted of murder and later acquitted, before being found dead in his jail cell in 2017.

The upcoming series, from Ryan Murphy, is based on the podcast Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez and Football Inc, and charts the rise and fall of NFL superstar Aaron Hernandez and explores the disparate strands of his identity, his family, his career, his suicide and their legacy in sports and American culture.
Also starring in the series include Patrick Schwarzenegger as Tim Tebow, Norbert Leo Butz as Coach Bill Belichick, Jaylen Barron, Lindsay Mendez, Ean Castellanos, Tammy Blanchard, Tony Yazbeck, Thomas Sadoski and Jake Cannavale.
American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez will premiere September 17th on FX, and streaming on Hulu.
