Kieran Culkin Explains Why He Won’t Let His Children Watch “Home Alone” Films

Kieran Culkin, who got his acting start in the iconic holiday movie franchise Home Alone, recently revealed that his two children, daughter Kinsey (5) and son Wilder (3), have not yet watched the films. The 42-year-old actor, who played Fuller McCallister, the younger brother of Macaulay Culkin’s Kevin McCallister, explained that parts of the movies, particularly the more intense moments, might still be too frightening for his young kids. He mentioned scenes like the tarantula and the threat of “biting off all your fingers” as being scary for a 3-year-old.

However, Kieran added that his kids may be ready to watch Home Alone this year, or perhaps next year. He seems to be considering introducing them to the beloved holiday classic as they grow older.

In other news, Kieran’s latest film A Real Pain has been generating Oscar buzz, with strong consideration for an acting nomination for him. Meanwhile, his brother Macaulay Culkin is currently on tour, discussing all things Home Alone, and also recently shared what his own son thinks about the movie.
