The Christmas Quest is airing tonight, Sunday, December 1, at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel. This film marks Lacey Chabert’s 15th Hallmark Christmas movie. For the first time, Lacey stars alongside Hallmark favorite Kristoffer Polaha.
The movie, set against the stunning backdrop of Iceland, follows archeologist Stefanie (Chabert) as she embarks on a mission to find the legendary Treasure of the Yule Lads, a quest that was her late mother’s lifelong dream. Each of the 13 Yule Lads, Iceland’s Father Christmas figures, holds a clue to the treasure’s location. To solve the mystery, Stefanie teams up with her ex-husband, Chase (Polaha), an expert in ancient Norse languages. Together, they travel across Iceland, discovering local Christmas traditions and racing against time and rival treasure hunters to uncover the treasure before Christmas Day.
The movie also stars Aldís Amah Hamilton, Jóel Sæmundsson, Hanna María Karlsdóttir, Thor Tulinius, Erin Cahill, Isla McRae, and others.
