Tottenham target could join North London club
With several key players linked to exits this summer, including key midfielders, Tottenham must strengthen their midfield options.
According to talkSPORT, the club is particularly interested in Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who helped his side secure promotion to the Premier League next season.
Sports broadcaster Ben Jacobs, speaking to GiveMeSport, suggested that Dewsbury-Hall’s current club may be forced to sell the 25-year-old by the end of June.
“Leicester may have to sell despite their promotion,” Jacobs said. “Dewsbury-Hall is a valuable asset, and the club may need to part with him quickly.”
With 129 appearances for his current club and 26 goal contributions last season, Dewsbury-Hall’s potential departure would be a significant loss for Leicester.
If Jacobs’ analysis is correct, it provides further motivation for Tottenham and Technical Director Johan Lange to pursue the English talent before he moves elsewhere.
