The highly anticipated Squid Game season two is officially on its way, with a new trailer dropped by Netflix! Lee Jung-jae returns as Seong Gi-hun (Player 456), who is back three years after winning the deadly game. Instead of going to the U.S. as initially planned, Gi-hun has a new resolution, diving once again into the perilous world of Squid Game. This time, new participants are introduced, all competing for the massive prize of 45.6 billion won.
The trailer teases Gi-hun’s personal transformation and his attempt to make a change after surviving the brutal game. Alongside Jung-jae, returning cast members include Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo. New faces joining the series this season include Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, and more.
Fans can expect the second season to drop on December 26th, continuing the tense, high-stakes drama that made the show a global phenomenon.
