Years after losing his Oscar, Jared Leto finally locates it!

Jared Leto has solved a years-long mystery by revealing that he has recovered his missing Academy Award! The 52-year-old actor took to social media this week to announce that the Oscar he won in 2014 for Dallas Buyers Club—in the Best Supporting Actor category—had been found, nearly four years after he first shared that it was lost.

Jared won the award for his portrayal of Rayon, alongside Matthew McConaughey. In early 2021, he revealed that the trophy had been missing for “like three years” after he moved houses in Los Angeles. At the time, he explained on The Late Late Show With James Corden that no one had told him where it went, and it seemed to have “magically disappeared” during the move.

Now, after all this time, Jared took to Instagram to share new photos of himself with the recovered Oscar, captioning the post with, “Found my Oscar.” He didn’t offer any specifics on where the award had been misplaced, but fans are likely relieved to see that the mystery has finally been solved!
